It is only natural to be inspired by my surroundings being a Florida native. This piece is about recognizing the species and nature here and the threat and protection to them. The Florida panther, sea turtles, manatees, coral reefs, citrus trees (once threatened from the citrus canker) and mangroves are all either endangered or should be protected. We have to respect and take care of the other beings we share the Earth with especially in our home of Florida.
